  19. If sounds that you hear in this stack (or any stack) sound "scratchy", don't worry. There's nothing wrong with your speaker.

  21. HyperCard can't read sounds from a floppy disk fast enough to have them play smoothly. They get broken up because HyperCard plays the sound faster than it can read it from the floppy.

  23. This is never a problem on a hard disk. And if you play the sound a second time, it usually sounds OK since it it already resides in RAM.
